How it works
The mod streams your microphone to the Mine Yapping backend, which runs speech-to-text → LLM → text-to-speech and streams the reply audio back.

[Fabric mod] chat lines + positional audio ◄──────┘The mod never talks to the Minecraft server. It works in singleplayer, on vanilla multiplayer servers, and on modded servers — with only you having it installed. Nobody else sees your conversations or hears the replies.

- Windows, macOS, or Linux desktop — macOS voice input requires Prism Launcher; Android / PojavLauncher is not supported

Cost
The mod is free and open source. The hosted service gives every account 100 requests per month (150 if you link Twitch). You can also bring your own OpenAI and ElevenLabs keys for unlimited use, or self-host the backend. If you want more than the free allowance, you can buy AI credits — they unlock no features, they just pay for the requests themselves.
